What is netiquette? Netiquette is the code or behavioural code that is necessary for safe internet use.
Top 10 rules for Netiquette:
- Don’t message people you don’t know
- Don’t post something if you aren’t okay for the whole world to see it
- Don’t be mean online even if it is just a joke
- Don’t use caps when you are writing a post because that mean that you are yelling.
- Be aware of those who are following you
- Respect others privacy online
- Remember that if you message something or post something it is in cyberspace forever
- Don’t share your password with anyone
- Don’t share your private details online
- Don’t do anything online that you wouldn’t do offline
