Technology is a useful servant but a dangerous master
I am writing this blog post to highlight the advantages and disadvantages of computer use. I hope you can learn something. Happy reading!!
Advantages of Computer use:
- It is convenient
If you need to take something somewhere, instead of taking sheets of paper places, you can take a laptop instead
- It is a good way of contacting others from across the world
If you have family that lives far away for example America and you are in Australia, computers make it easier to contact them.
- Easier to carry
For example in school if you have to carry textbooks to all your classes, if you have the electronic versions you don’t need to carry them around.
Disadvantages of Computer Use:
- Loss of meaning in messages
If you are messaging a note to someone they cannot tell if you are being sarcastic or not.
- You can be hacked
If your computer gets hacked by someone you may lose work and not be able to access sit so you would have to start again
- Somebody could steal you identity
If somebody finds one of your online social accounts, then they could access all of your personal information and steal your identity
